beta was 296 today!!! That's a nice strong number!!! Today is 9dp5dt...doc wanted the number to be anything over 25. Progesterone was 50 and they wanted that over 20. I can drop my progesterone dose in half...still on injections but well worth it. I go back thursday for another test to make sure the number is doubling properly.
Taylor and I are so thankful and praising God for blessings!!!

POAS
POAS means pee on a stick in infertility lingo...which I have done every day. I wanted to be prepared before I go in for my BETA blood test which is tomorrow. I used the super sensitive tests first (starting at 4dp5dt) then used the digital test that detects the pregnancy hormone at a higher level. I didn't use the digital until 7dp5dt (7 days past 5 day transfer or 12 days past ovulation)....I don't remember these from ten years ago...so cool...no squinting and agonizing if it's really a line!
So here it is:
So here it is:
An excerpt from the book "A Few Good Eggs"
Pregnancy after infertility is fraught with worry about the baby's health, your health, and if all the drugs you took trying to conceive will come back to haunt you in some way. Unlike normal pregnant women, you will never forget your infertility. We have yet to speak to one infertile woman who, when she finally became pregnant, kicked back and relaxed her guard, not for a moment.
So true...it's still so early...so much that can go wrong.
But, for today, for this moment, we are pregnant and we thank our Maker and we celebrate. This baby (or babies) deserve that.
The beta is tomorrow and they should call early afternoon with the number...praying for a good strong number.

Can you be charming??
Oh how my first graders are ready for spring break!!! I must admit, so am I!
Then I'll have so very much time to obsess....when I'm in my classroom, I have zero time to think about much of anything except 20 little punkins. But next week I'll have an abundant amount of time....to obsess about what's a possible pregnancy symptom...oh my goodness I just blinked 15 times in 30 seconds and I never blink more than 12...must be a symptom...let me google it!!!
Gavin told me today that it's such a great day....he got a girlfriend...a real one this time who knows she's his girlfriend! This 3rd grade gal was apparently fed up with the way her former boyfriend was saying ugly things about her to everyone in the class....so she approached Gavin and had one very important question he needed to answer, a requirement it seemed she had put much thought into.....a question I'm sure every girl wants to ask....
"Gavin, can you be charming????"
Holding back my laughter, I asked him what his answer was... he said "I told her, sure my mom says I am all the time....then I told her this is the greatest day of my life because I've never had a girlfriend before!" There's that charm already ha!!
Then he says to me...."mom, it feels so good to finally have a girlfriend.".....just matter of fact....not too excited...more of a sigh of relief...like he's just been waiting his whole life for this day....
What I'd give to freeze these sweet and innocent days!!
